Can pellets be too small? I am quarantining a very large sailfin (when the seller said large didnt think it would be too large) very confident fish, never hiding, always swimming around. The pellets might be too small for him though.
- new life spectrum 1-2.5
- ocean nutrition small
Im worried it is not sustaining him enough. The fish came in very fat from the seller. Should i buy a bigger pellet?

I use small pellets in both my systems, simply because they are in an Apex auto feeder and drop through the mess screen easier, and I have all sorts of fish including a sailfin tang so I think you will be fine

oh okay thank you. i also have a fowleri in with the sailfin although it's still tiny. i didn't plan on having a fowleri but the seller accidently sent me one (accidental extra fish hehe). beautiful fish but might be too big for my 210 in a few years kinda torn on what to do in a few years. maybe I will upgrade or give the fish away.
