By all means yes they can! Any species of clownfish can possibly mate.

It's been done... LOTS. Many hobbyists have had it happen completely by accident, as they thought they bought a "pair" of clowns, but really got one of each.

with these fish I ended up with 5 dwarf clowns out of 30 something that made it.

I should have kept breeding them but I listened to everyone wine about how it is messing up the breeds..... bla, bla, bla

do what you want and have fun doing it

Nice looking clown:bigsmile: Can't see the spines but female looks like a Percula. You want to get an Ocellaris for her right?

What will the babies look for my pair? A regular perc and regular ocellairs

It's hard to say for certain, but in my experience the babies will be whatever the female is. I have a few "mixed" pairs and the babies appear to be whatever the female is. Obviously they have the genetic makeup of both parents, but mine have taken on the physical appearance of the female, i.e. Occ or Perc. I hope that helps. Speaking of babies...it's time for their mid morning snack. TTYL
