Hi all, I recently got this candy cane Coral from live aquaria, seems a little strange. Does everything look alright? Is that the name they usually go by? Thanks!

Caulastraea is it's technical name, it's also know as trumpet coral.

Looks fine to me.

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
