What is everyone's opinion on candy cane corals? Would anyway say they are an easier coral to take care of or are they for the more experienced reefer?

I say easy; medium flow/light and feed every now and then.

Easy enough, mine are placed low and grow slow. Their feeding tentacles are interesting at dusk.
+1

I never really feed mine. Here's my colony:

Interesting that you asked. I was looking at mine today and thinking... These are so easy. I never really look closely at them anymore because they are so steady and healthy. They've survived algae outbreaks, heater malfunctions, and changing tanks without hiccup. They grow well and look absolutely great. I have the green ones and everyone comments on them.

Sounds very encouraging!
