Can't decide on next tank

Well my fluval Evo gave me the salt bug and I'm looking for something bigger toss up now is had to be easily movable as we plan on moving in the next year so prefer to stay aio current thoughts

Im 30l (maybe different stand to lower cost)

Im 40

New biocube 32 led

I'm open for other suggestions as well almost debated a 40 breeder and making it an aio but at the cost I could by something already done and save the time

If you've got some money to spend then look at red seas setups. Top of the line and some include the lights. Been looking at them myself.

I second the Red Sea vote but if you're looking for something a little more affordable Innovative marine Nuvos are another hugely popular option. almost went that route myself with SOOOO many options in the 10 to 40 Gallon size as well as completely different styles available from round to drop off they are an excellent choice.

Take a look at the Innovative Marine Nuvo Abyss Drop-off tanks. They are only 20 gallons but are the best looking smaller tanks around...in my opinion at least.

You can find stuff for cheap on Craigslist and other places. $150 I got most of a 58 gallon setup. The guy who sold it to me pointed to his corner tank which was huge and acrylic and said that is 1,200 new and I got it for $150. Mind blown... lol

Local shop has the reef drop setup and while I like it for that money I could get the 30l or 40

If money was no problem is order the artfully acrylic 35g reef drop but $650 for a 35 is a little rediculous....Cool but ouch lol

oh no that's the complete set up, tank, stand, light, heater, skimmer although the skimmer kinda sucks from what I've read I haven't run it myself yet so can't speak personally

That's actually not horrid given comes with sump and skimmer....If the skimmer actually works

I'd say Macnets has a pretty solid suggestion I'd be moving that to the top or close to of my list and even if the skimmer IS garbage, a sump alone is $300 so to get the tank and stand for $650 ain't bad

Looking really to stay under 45 gallons and avoid sumps

Moving in a year and prefer to make it as easy as possible

A sump is really just one more box man, and honestly the flexibility it provides for your system is second to none. Are they mandatory, definitely not, but for the benefits I think they are totally worth the extra effort moving

Plus a 45 Gallon AIO is really a 35Gal DT so not as much room to play with when it comes to scape design. my 34G RS is really a 28G DT which limits my own options when it comes to landscape. If it's a tank you seriously would like to keep for an extended period of time and want the most flexibility my vote would be for the SCA. Just my .02
