It's been three or four days and there's been ONE sign of him and then nothing. The only thing i haven't done is move some rocks to see if he died. There is seaweed for him and plenty of hiding spots. I'm very worried...

How long have you had him? how big? How big of tank/rocks, what type of filter?

I would check ground, overflow, plumbing.....maybe more thorough investigation in the rocks

Check between rock work, Hippo tang tend to sleep by wedging themselves into rocks. Check if it maybe got crushed or is stuck in between rocks. Do not move the rocks yet tho, just look for it. My hippo tang likes to sleep under a rock where the engineer goby once lived.

Ill post pics. The other day i moved around some macro algae and picked up a rock on top and saw movement. I even took a flashlight and looked everywhere i could in-between rocks and all of that. I will keep this thread posted. He isn't very big and in a few hours we plan on taking rocms put to find him.

Sometimes fish hide and aren't seen for weeks. If he is there and hiding, so be it. If it is dead, the cuc will get lunch
