Red Sea A & B is 2mL per 25 gallons or 0.8mL per 10 gallonsIt says 2ml of each every day as the “minimum” dose, what would you recommend? (That’s what i started with today)
I’ve got about 25-26g of water volume, but I’m hesitant to actually use as much/as often as the manufacturer recommends. Going to start slow lolRed Sea A & B is 2mL per 25 gallons or 0.8mL per 10 gallons
I bet that would eat a fish if it got hungry :oops:That's all?

The rainbow went back home, it was as recovered as it could have gotten, but the green one is mine. Its 8" in diameter and 5" tall. Just imagine a base ball cap sitting in the tank.
Sounds like a good planI’ve got about 25-26g of water volume, but I’m hesitant to actually use as much/as often as the manufacturer recommends. Going to start slow lol

Ok, caught back up, excuse the likes and laughs!
I have always found that small hints of cyano is a good indicator for using too much of these types of additives, I have tried a few but not the red sea ones.
The big tank is still all out of wack, nitrates 100 and phos over .5, the first thing I stopped when the tank started to cycle was the polyp booster I was using.
Tank looks great by the way. :)
Just taken. ;)

Do we know for sure if cyano can utilize strictly aminos and carbs to grow?
In hindsight I think it showed up for me when I started dosing Fuel more frequently. Really interesting observations!I don't know so no, I always run a bit high with my nutrients anyway, to dial in the drops per day with Polyp Booster I just looked each day until I saw cyano, drops as stated on the bottle, 7 days later cyano started to appear so I halved the drops per day and a little more appeared but stabilised after a few days.
The previous one was Coral Essentials Amino Gro, it was messy but that is how I knew the latest adjustment o try.
IMO yes it does fuel it. ;)
Can you believe I’ve kept this Goni alive for 9 months now
if it’s still doing well after year 2 that’s honestly all I could hope for
I’ve honestly been halfway expecting that to happen for months now, but it just keeps growing! My LFS calls gonis "renta-corals" because nobody gets to keep them. Mine grow like gangbusters for 6 months. The next morning they are gone. Like clockwork. Acropora are so much easier IME.
