Cats and reef tanks

I have 4 cats and 4 reef tanks and they never interact. I have fostered a lot of feral kittens turned house cats and I once had a kitten jump in my sump! He was fine, but my actual house cats including the ones that were outside cats have zero interest in the tanks.

Will be getting a kitten in a couple weeks, will be interesting to see what happens.

Mine chewed through my dosing lines..just cause they were squishy. Wasn't that hard to block after, but beware of the curious cat.

my parents have a ragdoll and ironically she hates being held/petted

my cat couldn't care less about my tank. when i got it i dipped her feet in there just to let her know it's a box of water and since then she doesn't care.

My cat jumped up, fell in, levitated in a way that defied physics. Up and sideways and out and ton of water with him. Fish spooked. That was the last time he had an interest.

My savannah does the same haha! I love the bengal breeds man. One of the most beautiful cats out there.

I put a cat tree next to my tank, so he(this is my silver 18lbs) just sits there licking his string ball and watching the tank.. Not to mention he loves silicone hoses so I have to keep those dosing lines locked down! Hell I can't even have straws in my cups or I turn my back for one sec... and poof cup is knocked over, straw is gone!

I had mine next to the tank but switched it out with another tank. I'm going to move it back though, she enjoys sitting and watching. Mine never chews on hoses or wires, but she always goes into the stand and plays around in there
