CB Latz clownfish question

I was wondering if the captive bred Latezonatus clowns are more tolerant of typical reef tank temps. I know wild collected are sub-tropical and tend to not do as well. My tank typically runs 73-74 in the winter, but gets 78-80 in the summer. Even a few days up to 82 or so. Anyone have any experiences with the CB ones?

Yep! I've been in contact with the breeder and she said the parents are wild caught and have been exposed to Hawaiian temps between 79-82 or so. I've had my c/b Latz in temps between 74-80 and they are growing and thriving.

+1 on that one....you cannot go wrong with Karen's Clownfish they are used to our tropical climate and can thrive in 79-82 degrees..........Aloha!

The natural host is the Sebae but I've seen them in BTAs and have even heard of them hosting carpets

We use a "few" regular BTA's and they love it :bigsmile:
