Make it. Go get yourself a angle clamp. And find you a platic company near you way cheaper then buying one. My trigger sump (I love) but cost a lot of $$ I could make for less then half. You just need to figure what pump your going to use and go from there.

You have done some work... let me ask because im curious. Why are you using so many 90° elbows when you could have made a manifold and ran all 4 returns for the CLS with ball valves to control the flow to each.

For the cls I have a 2" intake and a 1 1/2 output. I need to split the 1 1/2 out to four 1". I'm still playing around with it but under my stand I don't want 8 pipes coming in and out so I'm trying to have just 2" out and 1 1/2" up and split it off up top. Ill try and explain what I mean.

I under stand what your saying. There is a way you can run it and only have 2 lines and the pump in the stand. Your 2" intake will run to the pump the your 1 1/2" out put can run to a made manifold thats 1 1/2" diameter and runs the length and bottom of the tank. From the manifold you would run 4 1" to your return bulkheads from the manifold. And to be able to adjust each flow rate you would add a ball valve to each of the 4 1" return lines off the manifold. And because your manifold is larger in diameter then your 1" return lines that will equalize the flow and pressure evenly to all 4 returns. Its simple to do and is more reliable. I will see if i can find find a picture of what im talking about or might draw one up for u.

Here is a quick sketch up... sorry not to scale lol but you can see what im talking about and how to set it up.

Used that saying all the time in the military. And it cant be any more true or helpful.

So did the sketch up help any? And that manifold can be made with simple pipe and fittings. You would need 5 "T" fittings and 2 end caps. The rest is just cutting the 1 1/2" pipe to size between them. And i would put the manifold close to the tank and have the 2" drop over it like in the picture. And to get your 1" pipe to come away from the tank to meet up with the bulk head i would use 2 120° elbows with the appropriate lengh between. It will allow more flow the 90° because of increased head pressure.

It helped a ton just a little tweaking the 2" out and 1" return stick put the same amount so I'm going to have to make the 2" go 90, to 90, to 90 down to bring it in. Just like in the picture I do with the 1" pipes. It allready sticks out 7" from the back and because its going against a wall I don't want it any more then that. And I'm thinking just befor the middle T on the 1 1/2 useing a reduction fitting to 1". And I think I'm going to have to drop it down past the tank into the top of the stand. Simple fact of useing coupling and shut offs, oh well Easter to get to.
Ok now onto my sump I need to build. it will be 24x30x16 so that's just under 50g and my separate Refugium is 24x29x17. And still have to plum for my open loop system. Grumpy just bought your plane ticket ill see you tomorrow for that. Lol

Im glad it helped. Whats the reduction for you were talking about? I took it as you wanted to reduce the 1 1/2 to 1 right before the 1 1/2" manifold? For it to work properly i would leave it the 1 1/2" and use the 4 T fittings you can buy the one side reduced to 1" for the return lines. Im afraid if you reduce before the manifold or even reduce the manifold its self you might have a water flow problem. And i figured u needed to drop i down below the tank after i looked how close your bottom return bulkheads were.

And i wish i could go to Fl. 28° here and talking about an ice amd snow storm on its way lol good old indiana.

I was just thinking about all the parts I have in 1" and not in 1 1/2". It the reflow Dart pump can't remember the output. 1500 I think. And just want to rub this in
