I just upgraded my BC 33 from stock led to Steve's LED with iridescent booster and Hurricanex controller. I've read through everything I can find and still can't figure out what all the channels (besides 1-4) are for. I set it up according to the example given in the manual, but I don't want to hurt my corals or anything by having channels 5-16 set at something wrong. Can someone please help me understand how that works?

AFAICT only channel 1 and 2 are used.. and there is nothing plugged into any other channels.. so nothing to set.

Yes, but it's the newest version and uses channels 1-4. But when I scroll through to set the channel settings it gives me options for all 16 channels. If it doesn't use those channels, would it not matter what they're set at anyway?

You can ignore them ..
No wire...no control.
The software is rather DOS like. It lists all channels regardless of if needed or not.
