what happened to the live chat?

It was a trial that Rev was looking to add. It has been moved out of sight for now. Uncertain as to whether it will be back. You can always post on the threads or send pm's with those you choose to :bigsmile:.

awww ...that chat function was fun while it lasted. made alot of memories in there and found out alot of secrets.......

i liked the chat to it was fun to just go in and hang out and talk to everyone

In the 3 days that we had chat, we witnessed MANY MANY sales discussions taking place, despite the the repeated "suggestions" that sales NOT take place in chat. There's also a concern that chat was reducing the activity and participation, on the forum. We'll see what happens.

Unfortunately, it only takes a couple to ruin it for everyone :( I say ban those that can't follow the rules from chat (blatant rules violations, that is... not the accidental 'whats your thoughts on this...' deal) and give it to those who respect the rules and try to follow them.

To be honest, I enjoyed the 'Dang, tree fell over again' discussions...

can you suspend peoples privileges it should be a privilege to use chat and if you disobey the rules maybe loose the privileges idk it just seemed fun to go in there and talk to people and hang out and make new friends

The chat function was unique, definitely a plus.. Hopefully it gets brought back!
