Hey Man, I hear you but I've tried this and have been fighting them for the past 4 months I even did a RIP clean and they came backThere’s no need to ID dinos, old news
Cheap UV, connected to DT and blowing off rocks/sand nightly, will be gone in short order
I had dinoflagellates amphidinium which stays on the sandbed and not the water column. Looking at some of your pictures I don't think you have this type which according to many it's one of the worst to get rid of.
Last year I was in a similar situation that you are.
Please HELP!
Tank is 10 months but have a bunch of issues. I need help determining what to tackle first or determine if a restart is required or best course of action. 1) Colonial Hydroids - These started as a small patch but now spread throughout the tank (rocks, sand, walls) 2) Amphidinium...www.reef2reef.com
Get a game plan and stick to it. Highly recommend you raise the nutrients and go from there. Good luck.
Blowing them off the rock and sand is just helping them spread through the tank. There’s no need to ID dinos, old news

Are you certain that's dinos? It looks like cyano to me from the photo.
Even the long stringy stuff? My flow is definitely decent in my tank, should I just nuke it with some chemiclean or how should I go about it?That definitely looks like cyano
As in applying it directly to the algae or just dosing it in a blackout?Does H2O2 affect it?
