My grow light above my fuge has stoped working (FACiDA red 50w led) I was wondering if my Cheato would still be effective in my fuge without the light and if anyone has any recommendations for a new grow light

As I understand it, chaeto will grow under basically any department store grow light, but prefers light in the red/blue spectrum.

I like the cheap grow spot lights on amazon. the fan less ones. be aware though that a lot of time it will say 100 watt but is actually 50 watts. They use 100 watt led but only 50 watt drivers.

growth light on my HOB fuge; it works very good. Cheatos grows like weeds. You can hang if you like. Many Amazon reviewers use it to grown chaetos. Cost $25 Amazon.
