Do you get better skimming without Chemical media like carbon, GFO, Purigen, Polyfilters Etc, What are your experiences, I am aware skimmers remove different Items from water than chemical media like larger organics while media usually remove smaller organics, In my tanks I get better skimming without Media .What are your Thoughts?

How are you defining better skimming?

MORE SKIMMATE PRODUCTION!

There was a study mentioned how carbon can export more organics than a skimmer.

Nevertheless, my skimmer produces very well despite heavy carbon usage.

I use both, along with regular water changes. . No amount of organics is good, so the more removed the better. IMO

I use both GAC and skimming. GAC can bind some things skimmers won’t, and skimmers aerate as well as export.

THANKS, I use both but I have noticed an increase in skimmate without the carbon, Nonetheless I will use both!

That makes sense since what they export overlaps but is not entirely the same.

I use both skimmer and carbon.
I run 2 9430dc skimmers on my 150.
I just cleaned them and took these pics.
The skimmer with ozone creates a darker skim and has more volume than #2.
Ozone on the left.

I run both a skimmer and carbon in my tank
