I have a JBJ arctic 1/15 chiller. It's a couple months old. It just started making the most horrible noises...fan? Has anyone fixed one before and knows what I can do?

I do not know anything about repairing them but have you tried vacuuming the grill? Also check the line for blockages maybe, making sure the water is circulating through the chiller. I know that mine is extremely quiet.

Yeah, the grill and filter thing were totally clean but I rinsed them anyway. I don't think it would need cleaning inside already, it really is new. I can see the water coming out of the return. When I tip it it sounds like something is hitting. It's been so quite till now.

Well I dug it out and took off the bolts for the shroud but it looks like I have to totally disconnect the water. I looked in with a flashlight and I don't even see a fan. I'll wait till it's running again and see where the sound is coming from.
