I have been super busy with my work lately and have not keep up with the reef world. I sorta burn out and just have to take some time. Plus I got Covid so there isn't a lot I can do in term of work.
I got my camera and got a few picture of my China wrasse, and just have to show him off.

This is the exact same fish. First picture a few months after I got her in 2019, after she got healthy. The last 2 pictures is today 1/20/2022 a few years later. First picture is the normal coloration of this wrasse and the last picture is the nuptial coloration. It is really easy to take a good picture of him because he strutting in front to the tank all the time. However, nuptial pictures are very difficult to take becasue he is just fast.

If I purchased two, would one become a male, and the other a female? Similar to Clownfish? Don’t want to end up with two males, and they fight to death.

Wrasse all transition in the end. I never suggest getting a pair of any species of wrasse.
