I chipped the outside bottom corner while moving my JBJ 65. I filled it and let it sit in the garage for a week with no leaks. It seems the consensus of previous posts is most wouldn't take a chance bringing it indoors and populating it? If not, any repair that would be trustworthy?
I would fill it. That won’t cause a catastrophic failure. It likely won’t even seep. But it would definitely show leakage or seepage before busting apart (it won’t).
Agreed, I would run it also. I've had a couple of tank with chips similar to yours with no issues. One was a 180g and still holding water when I tore it down and sold it.
Take a bit of sandpaper to it. Will cut done on cuts to yourself and keep any score in the glass from running and blowing out. Anemoryboard nail file would work also.
