Have had our tank set up for about 11 months and still learning everyday. Nothing special here just a mixed reef in the making. : ) and yes I dose vodka ive had beautiful luck with it. Please do not bust on my naso... hes from a friend that broke down his tank and I have not had time to take him anywhere. Hopefully here soon I will be updating our lighte with a razor.

I went against the fold as well with my tank but it's worked out. Tang seems happy.

What par readings are you getting at the bottom of these tanks? I've thought about these cubes but I think they may be too deep for me

I had mine read with an apogee meter w/adjustment and got 350 at the sand bed and 650 at the surface. People argue about these readings but at the very least it gives you a gauge.
