Cipro treatment- Calling all Mushroom Guru's

Been a minute since I updated this thread.
Both shrooms doing great. Jb has some green and purple speckling and really starting to take off.
Minecraft has given me a mini minecraft and fully sprawled out touching edges on 5"tile

I was not able to save my OG. I ended up running OG through a few different courses of cipro treatment baths at different dosages. As well as dip in pretty much everything I could get my hands on over course of few months and nothing helped it.
I dont think it was bacterial with the OG but most likely an issue with trace elements and alk bottoming out.

No it appears much of the same results for OG everytime.
I've had same results with 2 OG as well something running though many of my Rhodactis all at the same time.

I find it interesting you have so many problems with rhodactis. I seem to have the same issues. I can even have them growing well for some time, even make babies, but over time they usually begin showing signs of stress. Loss of color, shriveling, detaching from plugs, etc. Right now I have a fire/harry, an OG and 2 godspawn doing similar. Hoping an antibacterial treatment may help.

Did you ever try chemiclean or do a combo dip like the KFC?

It really hasn't only been rhodactis. I've had 2 mass casualty events and it's only affected rhodactis and Yuma and when it happens it's only been subspecies of those 2 specific species. It's also only been when I allowed 1 species to dominate the tank. I've tried everything through these events and nothing has been able to help with the losses.
I'm convinced shrooms like to play nasty and nuke eachother and what's wierd is that no other species of shrooms were harmed in either event.

Was doing some research earlier and realized the cipro treated JB from this thread way back in the day is the only shroom from that batch that made it through my recent crash.

@LRT what dipping ratio would you use? i have a nickel sized OG showing signs of melting (losing yellow coloration, shrinking). i’m about to dip in lugol’s iodine but was considering an in-tank cipro treatment and am also having trouble figuring out dosages
