Clam Help Please - Disease, PM, Other??

Quick history, had three healthy clams acquired over a year. Added a forth (light blue maxima) about a month ago which quickly died. Dunno if it was PM but saw bleaching in the center of the mantle followed by tissue loss and death within a week. Subsequently another small blue maxima died the same way about a week or two later.

Now my Sq looks like this:

All parameters are in check: 35ppt, 8.5dKH, 430 Cal, 1300 Mag, .03 Phos, 10-15 No3

Anything I can do to save this little guy?

Doesn't look good unfortunately. Bleaching in the mantle can be caused by light shock in smaller clams but I wouldn't rule out perkinsus especially if your clams start withering away. Sorry for the loss.

Thanks, I kinda assumed the worst but I'll plan a FW dip when I get home today.

Follow up question, how long should I expect it to take the clam to open after the FW dip?

I usually saw results by the next day, better by 48 hours.

What kind of clam was the patient-zero blue maxima? Was a large Tahitian... like 6", or so?

It was a small (3-inch or so) light blue in color blue maxima... Not sure the exact scientific name.

The larger (5-6 inch) derasa I've had for a while is the last one. Holding on strong still although I haven't see it open the incurrent siphon at all.
