Hi Guys,

I saw this interesting clam from shop, may i know which type of clam it is?
The brownish one in the middle from the image below.

And if i were to have it, should i place it on floor inside a shallow tank or it should be high up on rock?

That is a Squamosa. He needs light in the low SPS level. Low water movement.

Just wonder if the flow were strong a bit, does this will causes any harm to them?
 
As long as the flow does not fib the mantle, it will be OK. In low flow, it will extend it mantle more.
