Thank you, was super tiny when I got it 6 months or so.Looks like a tridcna derasa. They are pretty hard clams, can grow up to a decent size. But like most clams will take a while to reach maturity. They like a sandy or loser gravel substrate, and are pretty tolerant of different light levels.
They are really cool creatures, I’ve found they grow pretty fast the first few years until they reach around that 8/10” mark then slow down a bit and usually top out around 18/24”Thank you, was super tiny when I got it 6 months or so.
