Morning all. Sorry for the angle of the picture, I can retake if needed. Can anyone ID this clam?

Looks like a tridcna derasa. They are pretty hard clams, can grow up to a decent size. But like most clams will take a while to reach maturity. They like a sandy or loser gravel substrate, and are pretty tolerant of different light levels.

Thank you, was super tiny when I got it 6 months or so.

They are really cool creatures, I’ve found they grow pretty fast the first few years until they reach around that 8/10” mark then slow down a bit and usually top out around 18/24”
