He has sale on many items. Reluctant to order, called 3 times and emailed to clarify that orders usually received Mon-Thur.

None. The last email I got blamed UPS. But I have gotten shipments from Dr. Reef and Tidal Gardens and BRS through UPS with zero problems. It troubles me that Clam Mania blames UPS. Dog ate my homework excuse.

I had to file a claim with my bank, but they did refund me. Someone from Clam Mania finally reached out after three months, but by then I’d already gotten my money back and bought clams elsewhere. He might be a nice guy, but you can’t run a business where you take people’s orders and money, then go completely silent for months. If he isn’t capable of properly handling and fulfilling online orders, he should just remove the online sales option from the website and stick to doing the shows.

Has anyone ordered from clam mania lately. I ordered 2 calms back in august and haven’t received them. They said they were going to ship them but never do.

Placed an order with no shipping update for two days. Read this thread and got worried. Had no previous experience other than looking at the catalog. Gave me a call, explained what I read was due to delays in shipping due to weather. Realized as well the time differences making it actually a day. After speaking with him I will be buying from him again. Hope to see a booth at Reefapalooza.

by the time I started to worry about it I’m pretty sure it’s too late to get my money back.
I emailed him several times and he does respond saying he will mail them the following week that’s been going on for a few months now. Maybe he will finally come thru now that some things have changed

All shop at your own risk at clamainia this guy is a fraud. I bought 2 high dollar clams for $800 back in July and still haven’t received them. He will respond to emails and leads you on like he will send. I hate to be this way but I wouldn’t buy anything from him. Look back through this thread and how many he keeps taking money from.

I have had nothing but positive experiences with John

He was incredibly kind and easy to work with when I ordered late last year, especially when there was a DOA due to a surgery procedure I was having when the clam arrived.

I'm sorry for those with negative experiences.

All shop at your own risk at clamainia this guy is a fraud. I bought 2 high dollar clams for $800 back in July and still haven’t received them. He will respond to emails and leads you on like he will send. I hate to be this way but I wouldn’t buy anything from him. Look back through this thread and how many he keeps taking money from.

Just issue a chargeback dude. I don't blame you for being upset but this is easily resolved by contacting your bank.

I'm glad to hear you had a good experience. Hopefully, he will figure this out. I'd really like to have the ability to purchase some of his clams.
