That sucks about the issues. I love my crocea that I picked up from them at Reefapalooza NY last year - beautiful and still doing great.

John is a stand up guy. He is spread way too thin for online orders though. Id try reaching out again.

Has anyone ordered from clam mania lately. I ordered 2 calms back in august and haven’t received them. They said they were going to ship them but never do.
same, i order one in july and it took awhile to ship. I placed another order in august, he called and told me to wait a few weeks , it's been more than 2 months LOL. Emailed a few times no reply, i'll just ride it out and see.

My philosophy is if you have the time to post on instagram, you have the time to reply to your customers' emails, but what do i know, maybe he wants to raise my clams from baby size to 5+ inches before shipping

Then he should get assistance, be transparent or shut down ordering for a while. He rarely responds to emails or phone calls. After my disappointing order I will not make that mistake again. I am not a picky customer.

I ordered from Clam Mania on 10/9. Waited two weeks. Called and left VM. Texted. Emailed. No response. Phone always goes directly to VM.

This is not a well functioning company. Perhaps he should just sell wholesale to vendors. He really doesn't seem able to provide bare minimum for retail expectations.

As of today November 3, I still have received no fish or communication. It's amazing the company will let accept customer's money when they cannot deliver what was purchased.

I'm looking for a nice Crocea as a centerpiece of my nano. For the asking prices on the website I would expect superior customer service. It's a bit of a red flag when anything with 2 or more colors is labeled "ultra rainbow" and $500. Will avoid this vendor, but he has the supply/demand curve on his side.

Same here no replies still have not received the clams. Too late for getting money back but I keep emailing once a week 😂

Today, which is 1 month and 2 days after I paid for my order, I got an email saying they would ship next week. No explanation, apology or offer to make it right.
Same here. Totally out of the blue with no apology or anything taking responsibility for the delay/lack of communication.
