Cleaner shrimp

can cleaner shrimp hurt corals like frogspawn?
My cleaner shrimp diggs around in my big frogspawn and I worry that it can hurt the coral causing tissue damage and open the door for bacterial like brown jelly.
Should I put him in the sump??
This happens only at night

Mine got pulled from my tank for that very reason.. he would run around and constantly pick at my LPS corals, walk over my Zoa's making them close up and stealing food from everyone in the tank at feeding time :mad:. He now has his own little reef with a few little things for him to pick at :D
