Cleaner Wrasse red sore

Any input is appreciated. My cleaner wrasse has an open red sore. Idk what it is or what to do next. I don't want it to kill my tank if it is sick.

This is either an injury or bite mark
Mine has endured this many times as it irritates my fish trying to nibble on them
My harlequin tusk I’m surprised hasn’t bitten it in half yet
Keep an eye on it for healing and not getting worse
Treatment will be seachem neoplex in a separate tank

Well, that could be Uronema. That isn’t treatable though.

It could be bacterial though, no way to tell them apart visually, you’d need a microscope.

I’d say that @vetteguy53081 is correct - your best bet is going to be an antibiotic in a treatment tank.

I am not very optimistic though, this looks pretty severe.

My vote uronema - with a very thin fish. That is may not make it - with antibiotics or anything. I guess - since uronema at the stage is usually fatal - trying an antibiotic in a hospital tank is a great idea - in case of possible infection.
