I recently purchased an established 58 gallon saltwater aquarium. I have 2 burgundy mating clownfish and a dottyback in my tank. Currently I have a porcelein crab, 2 emerald crabs, 1 cleaner shrimp, and 9 hermit crabs. I know this is not sufficient for a cleaning crew. I have read several different things on cleaners per gallon but they all differ. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.:ooh:

I would just pick me up a cleaner package from one of our sponsors like Reef Cleaners. If it were me I would get a nice mixture of snails and be done with it. I don't care for the hermits so that is just my opinion.

+1 on the snails. In my opinion id say you have enough crabs those cleaners per gallon rules of thumb would be different for every single tank in the hobby, the key is your filtration, with the proper filtration and flow, esentially you wouldnt really need much. Start with less and after a few weeks determine how many more you might need.
