I'm setting up a 40B here soon, and wanted to get some opinions on different ways to set up a closed loop.
I was initially planning on having a single supply bulkhead on the back wall, and pump that through an SCWD (3/4") to two bulkheads near the top corners of the tank. Split off with locline/pvc from that point. Simple, but seems to be effective.
Then I start reading a little into bulkheads coming up through the bottom of the tank for jets pointed towards the rockwork. What is the real advantage to this method?
I'm really open to any ideas and suggestions for this, but I need some decent reasoning for some of these opinions.
So, what do you suggest?
