My Lo has developed cloudy eyes and I believe it to be bacterial. I would like to treat him but will need to remove him (fingers crossed) from my 180. He’s about 6 inches long. However, best quarantine tank is a 40 gallon long. I feel that’s too small for him. Has anyone had any experience with hospital tanks as larger fish? Dont want to kill him while attempting to treat him. I had a fox face develop this and tried to feed vitamins etc but he ended up eventually going belly up. The fox face had popeye and this looks very similar to the course that took.

Here Is one pict. He’s not camera shy but think this is the best view.

How long have you had it? That has a bearing on if it is flukes or not.

Got him 5/2016 so he’s been in there at least 4 years and change.

Not flukes then. Does the cloudiness look like it’s on the surface, or is it feel seated? Might be cataracts.
