Hi guys as some know I’m new to this salt water hobby . I have a 40 gallon breeder it’s beeen cycled using dr.Tim’s . I have 2 clown fish and 1 cleaner shrimp and a 5 small snails I’m also using a canister filter with ceramic media , filter pads , chemi pure . My parameters are as follow- ammonia 0, nitrite 0 , ph 8.0 , nitrate 5ppm, calcium 380, phosphate 0, alkalinity with Red Sea test kit says 3.21 with dkh @9 , with API reef test kit it’s 214.8 on that test I don’t know which to go with . Anyway my water is cloudy and it didn’t get like that until I added fish and a few more pieces of live rock now I’m having a algae out break and for the past week I think I’m having a red Cyanobacteria out break it’s all over all of my soft corals to the point they close up . All so I just added 2 AI prime 16 and yes I think this is helping the algae grow . And I know most don’t use a canister for salt but that what I got . So what can or should I do to fix this problem I ordered some chemi clear but is there some I ca. do before I use that . Also should I add microbacter7. Also I’m gone to search for this on this site ,light schedules . Thanks ahead of time . I’m gone to add some pictures for a better idea of my tank .

Are those Trochus snails ? They release a white cloudy substance some times :) and it will cloud up my tank, for a split second I panic that something is wrong but if you ever see one doing it you will know.
