Hello

Need some adavice i lost one of my ocellarius clowns about 2 weeks ago. I have the 2 for 12 years. I really expected the other one to go but it seems healthy and fine. Are there any tips on how to possibly to safely introduce a new to my 90 gallon tank. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated..

You can try to pick a very young one before it goes thru any sex change.

My female was about 2 years old when I lost the male. I got a young clown that was 1/2 the size and probably before sexual maturity and the intro was easy and went well. Lots of stressing for nothing.

Pick a younger clown that hasn't changed it's sex to female yet. This will allow them to pair again and the larger one should shift to female (if it wasn't already). The big one might beat on the little one some after introduction.
