I’m devastated...I think Missy has developed Ich.

I see a small dot on her tail. What do you think? Make sure to change the quality to HQ.

I just see the one spot, and barely. What's the history of the tank and clowns? How long have you had them and what, if anything, have you added recently?

Did this just pop up or has it been there a couple days?

Tanks been set up since January. Been adding corals over the past month. Admittedly didn’t QT the corals.

I’ve had the female over a decade (yes, really!) and the male just under a decade.

Both she and the male ate voraciously at mealtime tonight. No other symptoms.

Wow, that's impressive!

I'd keep a close eye on it and watch for ANY behavioral changes. It could just be lympho or maybe something she picked up off the sand. If you notice any more spots pop up then I'd start prepping a qt.

Thank you! Got her in 2007!

As you can imagine, I’m rather attached to her.

I’ll keep an eye out and keep updating this post.

I bet dude.. I'm attached to my clowns even though they're only like 1.5-2 years and are complete jerks.

Oh man she hasn’t drawn blood but she definitely has some strong jaws.

I sure hope she will be okay.

If it is Ich, I’ll pull her and her mate out (they are the only fish in the system) run fallow for 72 days, and treat her with hypo salinity. I sure hope it’s not the case.

Does that spot look embedded, or does it look more like it's "hanging"?

That's excellent news Bill! I was just going to say I still didn't see anything too concerning in that second video.

About how long was that spot on her?

Less than a day. I never noticed it till 5 min before I posted initially.

I cleaned my power heads yesterday so when I returned them, you know you can never get them perfectly back to how they were before so the flow changes slightly, the male was swimming kind of erratically and then I saw the spot on her.

Honestly I kind of panicked. I thought the male was flashing but he might just have been swimming upstream. Neither rub on the rocks or anything.

If it was less than I day I'd be inclined to say it was probably nothing. I'd observe them for a few days just to make sure.

Spoke too soon. Now that full DT lights are in I can see it’s still there.

No behavioral changes though. Any recommendation on course of action?

The only inhabitants are the two clowns, coral and CUC.
