Clownfish dead/ dying

I don’t see any parts that look like fallen scales to me

I meant to salt mucus slim. Not that scales are falling off. Sorry.

And in the info you posted, as all others have posted, it’s what we are seeing. Mucus/slime on the fish. Sadly that is the traits you will see with Brook. I had fish with swim bladder issues, and sadly your fish is not what swim bladder issues look like. A fish will try to swim and not die that fast.

Any other tank mates?

A tiger goby and cardinal, here’s a photo from a few days ago, the orange one is currently alive

The only thing I’m weirded out about is how I don’t really see slime myself as I have seen on other clownfish with brook, maybe it’s just because it was smaller

The clownfish foes seem to have brooklynella. The white spots are probably sand sticking to the mucus that brooklnella causes.

However, in one video, the water’s surface was REALLY foamy, that isn’t normal. Any ideas as to why that is?

But the bubbles seem a lot more foamy than they should be. Excess organics in the water can cause that.

Adding to this thread, since a new one isn’t really necessary, does my current clown look fine or should I treat it asap?

From what I can tell, he looks ok to me. Is he eating? If so, I would just monitor for now.

Since your other clown died of brook, I would treat with ruby reef rally pro to be safe as previously suggested. I would set up a qt tank, even though rally is normally reef safe, it is better to treat in a separate tank.

I don’t see anything off in these pictures, but if you see symptoms that have been described by others, I would definitely treat immediately.
