Hey Guys, I just acclimated my 2 True Percula clownfish into my innovative marine 20 gallon AIO. I bought the Hygger mini wave maker to add some flow to my tank and Im not sure if it's too much flow for my clownfish. They are hugging one corner of the tank and I'm not sure if it because I just added them or if it's because they are being pushed into that corner. Let me know your guys opinions.

These fish best in moderate flow and Hygger has some punch and is not adjustable. Post video under white lighting to see how the fish are swimming with flow impact

Welcome, glad you are here! Mine spent the first year and a half in the left upper corner being hosted by the return before moving into my duncan below it so without seeing the video it is probably normal behavior.

That hygger is pretty strong, have a look at the sicce voyager nano, it puts out a gentle wide flow, instead of the strong narrow beam of flow the hygger produces.

With that said, clowns pick a spot in the tank they like and stay there, they don't normally swim much.

Welcome to Reef2Reef! My clowns stayed in a corner as well. Occasionally, they would swim around the tank, but they mostly stayed in a corner.

And, as I’ve just experienced twice, the Hygger last about 2-3 weeks then gives an Error 7 code and dies.
