Hi, My female clownfish has developed white spots on its chin, side and one of its pectoral fin and I’m unsure what it could be.
I suspect lymph because she’s eating well and behaving normally but I’m not sure of it could be crypto or Brooklynella. My male clownfish is unaffected so I doubt it’s the latter of those two.
I checked my water chemistry and all is well. Just in case anyone asks, I haven’t got any ammonia or nitrites, nitrates are at 10 but they’re due a water change tomorrow. Salinity is at 34ppt. And temperature is checked daily which flicks between 24.7°c and 25°c depending on time of day.
The only animals in this tank are:
- 2x clownfish
- 2x Nassarius snails
- 1x Sulphur goby
I’m thinking of lowering the salinity as a precautionary to 32 tomorrow.
