Clownfish in 270 gal

In the wild, the adult males can swim away to transition and start their own harem.

Anyway, the Ripley's aquarium in Myrtle Beach has a professionally maintained clownfish harem tank, but I believe they keep it going by periodically removing the adults and restocking little guys.

The virginia aquarium has one as well, but it's clarkiis, and it was basically 1000 gallons of btas for like 8 fish last time I was there.
i didnt know that. its cool but i dont have the money or resources for that lol

I had a gold nugget for 2 years. His face turned a little gold but he just turned into a grayish yellowish fish with maroon fins… just letting you know! They dont look anything like pictures do. When he started getting the gold I totally thought he was turning gold but it just stopped… disappointing. Now the gold stipe maroons… beautiful
this point does worry me. gold stripe maroons usually get the beautiful gold stripe. ive had a few with a beautiful like burnt orange color on the edge of their fins. i wish there was a way to search this variation. fancy name like goldstripe fire maroon clownfish lol. but as much as i want a nugget i would be mad to not have a full gold nugget

Yeah Ive yet to see a real gold nugget! I was a little disappointed but his personality made up for it lol. Dude tried to kill my scraper every time I used it

Have 8 in a 130 with 12 nems. Just recently my tank almost crashed because a bright kid unplugged my tanks powers. Nems were ticked and moved around big time. Now even the Clowns are ticked and started fighting. The way I got them to not fight was cage them up a few days and it did the trick. (When I first got them) so as of now might have to do the same and see if I can get the nems relocated and to stay near the same places.

But yes a lot of nems, and get them from the same batch to really get it figured out. Such angry little guys for their dang size! But love em all!
