So she's not acting strange at all. Eating and swimming and spawned between last night and tonight. It was a few weeks ago I noticed what looked like a white fleshy mass on her chin, about half the size of a typical pencil eraser. Very flowy and resembled a scrape and I assumed it was from squeezing through rock or something. Once it started healing I just assumed that was it, (Might still be irrelevant?) But then she got a spot on her gill plate a few days ago that looked like a small white head? Or a raised up single scale maybe? Didn't get any worse, if anything it seemed like it was healing. I came home last night after the whites turned off and noticed she seemed to have a dark spot around her fin but it was late enough I didn't want to shine and spook her so I left it tolill tonight and now it looks really red. Like I said, no abnormal behavior and her and her man are taking care of a fresh batch of eggs today. You can see the red and the spot in the picture unfortunately it's really hard to get her to sit still enough to get a picture..

Tough to say exactly what's going on here - looks like an injury. What other fish are in with it? Mouth lesions in clownfish are often caused by "lip locking" with another clown.....

Looks to be a result of an injury whether biting from another occupant or impact with object. Since its been a few days, I would treat using Seachem Neoplex for at least 5 days in a separate tank Or Ruby rally pro within the tank but the seachem will work quicker

Would it make a difference that both fins have the same redness?

Right now it's literally a pair of clowns, 2 shorts pine urchins, and some cuc snails and a blue legged hermit crabs or 2. No corals yet
