My tank is a 240 gallon deep bowfront. I have a pair of small ocellaris clownfish who just hang out at the top of the tank. My friend may have to take his tank down while his house is tented for termites, so he asked if I could take his two fish (small tank). One is a Cardinal, which is no problem, but the other is an adult Maroon Clown. That's a bad idea, right? My only thought is MAYBE it would be OK since the maroon would be a new addition? I previously had a pair of maroons in a different tank but they were the oldest fish in there and very well-established. Maybe that makes a difference? I don't know...

Actually I don't. Two tangs, the pair of clowns, a firefish and a red headed fairy wrasse. And maybe a yellow wrasse... See other thread lol.

I'm feeling it's too risky...

Not worth the risk. It *might* work out because the tank's so large, but I wouldn't bet on it. You could always temporarily sump the maroon until your friend gets his tank back up.

That's actually a great idea. I'll offer to do that. Thanks! I always forget I can put a fish down there if necessary
