I have 2 clown fish in my tank I believe a percularis and ocellaris. One is always in my anemones. I have two rainbow rose bubble tip anemones that are medium size. My questions is why is the one that in the anemone guard it from the other one even though there is two anemones? Is this because they are of different specie? There is no aggression between them and they get along great. But it seems the one that doesn’t go in the anemone knows he’s not allows haha. Anyways lmk if you guys have had a similar situation.

It's pretty common for the female to establish dominance and hoard anemone's at first, then she will mature and you may even see a slight rehashing among them just before she is of spawning age, and after that both should be in anemone and always together.

Sometimes if you are lucky the female may allow male in sooner than that, but this is pretty typical behavior
