It would probably help to clean bottom it stirs up easy. Not much room to vacuum so I haven’t.

I keep trying to stick it out with this Fluvall sea marine 2. nano though I just don't feel like it has the light needed. I'm near 100% power on every channel and it seems like corals are barely holding stable (for those that are located on top of rocks half way up in tank). Stuff on bottom of tank loosing ground except one mushroom). Just dropped light down to 3" from top of glass which only increases shading on edges. And the light run's hot. Of course I also want to upgrade to a 20 gallon tank so new light would almost certainly lead to new tank.

Even though I’m on the lighting fence this little nano brings me so much joy sitting on my desk while I work the day away.

Well went to feed fish and picked up the wrong can Not fish food. Hopefully they don’t get sick.

Update new temp light almost instant improvement. Don't know if I’ll shut down the 10 when 20 is up. Part of me is like why would I do that

Just call one of them a frag tank. Its the best excuse to have two tanks

Well it would make 3 tanks. Was thinking of calling it a hospital tank who can argue with that. But a frag tank is not a bad idea of course then I would have to get it it's own new light and of course then set up a 4th tank as hospital tank.

So the cobbled together nano should now be called the ugly nano. It's now the place for unwanted corals mostly pulsing xenia and some palys. But it has also moved to a new chapter as a snail tank. The wrasses killed almost all of my stomtella in main tank and appears to have shutdown or at least eat any baby trochus snails. So on a whim I plucked 3 trochus out of main tank and dropped in 10 gallon (now full of algae). And it appears I have 2 babies to small to identify for sure but seem to have the right shape. Maybe I’m just wishful thinking!

counted 6 today. afraid to clean any algae as I don't want to loose any. I moved the 3 adult trochus to 20 to keep that algae in check. Fingers crossed these are trochus and I can start growing my own trochus factory as they are near impossible to get locally. Would it be safe to put a sailfin molly in here?

That's pretty awesome they are breeding in there!
