I would like to know if anyone here or otherwise knows of anyone that has written an article or has published a paper on the correlation between Pallythoa/Zoanthid coloration and their toxicity. I was wondering today while at work...Do Zoanthid and Pallythoa Zooxanthellae coloration pigments determine the severity of toxicity of specimen they host, like that of a Nudibranch.

Thanks for your input,
Ernie's wandering mind

Not sure on that. I am not aware of anything that's been published. Could be interesting as topic though.

I still have another in progress, was looking for another future subject and this crossed my mind. Still digging through studies of Pallythoa toxins, there is actually a lot of pharm. interest...Tracking down resources.
