This one I got from a local fish store in 2011. Once I got it out of the water I changed my mind and decided I didn't want it cause it looked brown and just plain bad. The shop owner just gave it to me rather than unbag it.

I would be nice if you could put a black and white diagram (drawn?) with the names of the corals. I learn a lot by the looks of things.
Nice tank.

So I've got this coral in my tank that no matter what I just can't get a good photo of. It's a real shame too because it really is a nice piece in person. Every shot I've taken is just either way too bright, too washed out or just plain doesn't look anything like what my eye sees. So bought one of those look down boxes from Bulk Reef Supply, in the hopes that I could finally capture this beauty. I was considering going for one of Avast Marines' Top Down "Porthole", but those were just about twice the price of the look down box from BRS. Well, the look down showed up yesterday and I finally got to give it a try today. Here's the elusive coral I've been trying to get a photo of for so long...

It's not EXACTLY as my eye sees it, but it's the closest I've ever been able to get. I'll try to get a shot with the Macro lens a little later to see if I can do better.

Now on to my next problem.....

So I bought that piece in the above post a couple of years ago from Rock Mountain Frags. It was 1 of 4 pieces I picked up. Of the 4 pieces I purchased, I lost one. I know this is either the Ultimatefrags rainbow Acro here http://rockymountainfrags.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/UltimatefragsRainbowAcro.jpg
OR the Unknown Acro here http://rockymountainfrags.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/UnknownAcro.jpg

Looking at the pic above, which one do you think it is? (I know, it doesn't look like either of them, but I assure you, it is one of the two..)

I love how (I believe) the orange bam bams contrast the acro colors so well.

I love this tank! Especcialy the switch to mainly sps! I'm looking foward to owning my own house and planning a long term reef setup like yours. That's also cool that your fish is 10 years old! My marron clown is a little over three and it's only a little over 3 inches, i'm blaming it on the fact that it's still a male lol. I hope you keep that same tank for a long time!
