I am looking for advice on a DIY stand. Details below.
Aquarium:
1120mm (44") Long x 650mm (25") Wide x 500mm (19") High
Weight:
Tank + water + rock = 1000 lbs
Stand:
4 x 215mm (8") square concrete blocks at each corner. The gap in the centre is 690mm (27"). Please see the attached rough sketch for reference.
I plan to use two full-length timber sleepers, 200mm (8") x 100mm (4"), laid on top of the blocks. Please see the attached picture for reference.
Would this work? Please share your thoughts and any recommendations.
Thank you.
Josh
