For close to 6 months I have had bacteria blooms multiple times a month, the first time it happened I left it to sort itself out but it got that bad it killed all my fish, I now use a temporary uv to kill it which takes about a day but I can’t leave it on all the time as it’s balancing on the top of my aio tank, I’m confused as to why it’s happening so often the tanks 8-10months old lightly stocked with 3 small fish and it has a protein skimmer which does affect the blooms

i cant think
