Containing food smell?

I do agree LRS is the stinkiest! My wife noticed it the very first time I ever fed it. It’s now accepted in the house. I have a full size fridge/freezer in the garage where I keep the refrigerated and frozen foods.
I got a full size fridge for basement fish room but she’s taking it over then complaining 😂. So this battle she can win. I’ll buy a smaller combo fridge/freezer to try.

Below the tank stand is empty. Be nice to have food in cabinet at the tank I suppose 😂 mini combo it is. Only concern is heat from it 🤔

Or maybe even add auto phyto dosing from fridge as well 🤔 now the brains stirring. Haven’t started phyto yet but getting ready to start/try with these never ending Dino’s.

@JoJosReef and @Stang67 were experimenting with this.

I feed LRS Herbivore and Reef frenzy while it smells once out of the package there's no smell once I cut them up into small pieces and put them in a ziploc seal and freeze so I'm not sure I understand. My wife can't smell it either. Am I the only one?

I don’t smell anything 😂 but she swears the entire freezer and fridge stink and all the cans from fridge side even taste fishy! Woman are a different breed maybe she’s just self inflicting the taste?

😂 I don't know man no one has complained here and my wife says she can't smell anything until I open the ziploc and the smell comes blasting out... maybe it's placebo, try hiding it where it cant be found and tell her you removed it and see what she says 😂

My wife, daughter and son complained about the overflow from the skimmer but that's about it. I kept my food in air tight containers in the fridge and the freezer. Never had an issue with THAT smell!

Same but I'm not a good judge of reef scents... came home as a new born to a home with a saltwater tank so I'm probably immune to all the wonderful smells of reef keeping 😬 now my kids will have the same experience.

What air tight containers are you using?
More like when, rather than what! My last tank was operational about 14 years ago. I'm just starting over. But as to what I used? Can't remember anything other than it was airtight.

I feel like we all get yelled at by our spouses about frozen food stinking up the freezers and fridges. Like mine currently….its a basement beer fridge 🤔 but says it makes everything smell and stink like fish. So what options have you all come up? Some type of sealed container? Separate fridge? (Do they make a small fridge/freezer combo?) let’s hear it! I tried a small Rubbermaid bin for the food but she says it still stinks and everything from it tastes like fish still. I guess I’ve become accustom to the smell or taste? I notice nothing 😂
I got yelled at. Tried a small bin in the freezer that I thought was air tight. It was air tight but not smell tight. Finally realized that the odor started after bringing home reef frenzy. Got rid of the reef frenzy and we now enjoy marital bliss and a sweet smelling freezer compartment
