I’ve read through quite a few threads but haven’t found a clear answer, so I figured I’d ask directly.

My tank needs additional cooling, and I’m considering adding a fan to blow across the water surface. However, since I’m running a sump, I’d prefer to keep the fan inside the cabinet with the rest of the equipment.

My main concern is moisture buildup with the cabinet closed while the fan is running. For those of you who run a fan in your sump area, has humidity or moisture accumulation been an issue?

To be effective the air needs to move though the cabinet so venting would be necessary.
