Hi there, I am new to this and I need some help with my Coral beauty . I recently purchased this fish and the second day of being in my tank I know this a white Marce on the side of his head and at first I thought that was one of his scales missing and then I thought that was from darting in and out of the rock . But never went away just started to grow and every day seems like is getting bigger. The fish acts normal has a good appetite and doesn’t show any signs of being stressed out besides having something on his body that look like is eating him up.

This is a gash/would and likely from impact and will either heal on its own or become infected. Keep an eye on it for healing and not becoming red or sore. Should that happen, treat in a separate tank using seachem Kanaplex wit air stone added

Thank you so much for the advice. Definitely hope that will heal on its own soon. This fish is pretty cool active and full of personality.
Thanks!

It’s growing larger though? That implies an active infection. That location, so near the brain, could be an issue if there is an infection going on.

That’s exactly what I am afraid. Seems like is growing larger and deeper every day.
Thanks
