I don’t think so. I have 2 islands of gspHmmm, maybe briareum (green star polyp)??
Pipe organ should have red skeleton right?Looks like pipe organ. How does the skeleton look when it’s closed?

Try waving your hand over it and snap a pic once it closes up.I actually haven’t seen it closed up since I got it.
But skeleton is not red.
I’ve not noticed it to have a specific color, but it’s usually somewhere between black, brown, and reddish. The most important thing to look for is the small tubes.
Healthy tank problems;Hilarious;HilariousOk, I guess I will poke it and make it close up if it doesn’t do it on its own.
I’ll give it some time to do it by itself first.
It's a briareum, a type of GSP in layman's terms. There are several types which currently are all classified under one species. It is very unlikely that they are one species however, but there is essentially 0 funding for soft coral research so don't expect any corrections soo.
Gorgeous piece btw, never seen purple on the polyps
