Any thoughts on how I can remove the coralline safely from the skeleton? I think that could be inhibiting the growth as well.
It’s not what’s stopping growth.
If look elsewhere , generally ime , nutrition.

@Hemmdog they are nps. Mine likes lower flow. Slow grower. I don't target feed mine.
